Originally from Aurora, Illinois. Ranked #3 in Juniors Nationally in Boy’s 18’s and #5 Nationally in Boy’s 16’s. Graduated from Bradenton Academy and full scholarship to Nick Bolletierri Tennis Academy and won the Singles State Florida Highschool Championships twice.  All American at Pepperdine University. Team ranked #2, #3 and #4 Nationally . Played #1 and #2 at Pepperdine and Ranked #9 Nation in singles NCAA. Ranked #239 ATP World singles, competed in US Open and French Open twice. Played German Team Tennis for seven seasons in Dortmund and Bochum, Germany. Wynlakes Tennis Director since 1988.

  • Anuk Christiansz

Originally from Sri Lanka. Played Davis Cup for Sri Lanka. Coached AUM Men’s and Women’s Teams for nine years and won National Championships in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008. Currently Head Coach for Alabama State University Men’s and Women’s Team and have taken the Hornets to two record NCAA appearances in the last two years.

  • Peter Olsson

Originally from Sweden. Played for AUM and won a National Championship in 1995. Played Professional and ATP World ranking #350. Been working at Wynlakes for 17 years. Also works at Board of Education teaching children with special needs.

 

  • Richard Barrett

Former Tennis Coach at Bayside Academy, Director of Tennis and Club Manager at Point Clear Tennis Club, Associate Pro at West Side Tennis Club, New York City. Former #1 Ranked Junior in Alabama. Played 4 years at Univerity of South Florida. Formerly ranked top 20 Singles in the World in Men’s 40’s, #1 In the South. Director of Tennis for Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and personal Tennis Professional for HRH Prince Mileb bin, Abdullah in 1986-1988.

  • Wade Brown
Wade came to Montgomery from Pensacola, Florida where he had been the Head Pro and Director of both Public and Private facilities for over 10 years. He played at Georgia Southwestern State where he was 3 time All Conference and team captain. Wade is recognized throughout the region as a top coach of both juniors and adults. Wade and his wife, Brandy, have one son, Jackson.
Accomplishments include USPTA Member, Net Generation Elite Member, Wilson Advisory Staff, and K-Swiss Advisory Staff.

  • Jeff Barrera
Jeff Barrera has been teaching at the Montgomery Country Club since 1995. He played six years of competitive junior tennis in the Florida section from age 12-18. He then moved to Montgomery to play for Huntingdon College. Jeff’s enthusiasm and passion for teaching students of all ages and levels has been the key to his longevity and success at MCC. Jeff and his wife, Anita, have 2 daughters, Bella and Gabby.
Accomplishments include USPTA Member since 1994, and Member of Head Advisory Staff.

  • Richard Seaman
Richard was born in New York but moved to the South of France at an early age. With 21 years of teaching and coaching experience in France, Canada, and the United States, Coach Seman has an international background in tennis. Seman lives in Montgomery with his wife Christine, and works with Alabama State University staff as an assistant tennis coach since October 2011.
Accomplishments include District President for the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA), Florida Section, 2004 USTA/USPTA Florida Volunteer of the Year Award, and USTA Florida 2003 Clinician of the Year Award.
